The Koli National Part is located in the heart of North Karelia which is Finland‘s easternmost part and home of the mystic Kalevala epic. Koli is a hill range along Lake Pielinen. With an altitude of 346m, the summit called Ukko-Koli builds the center of the park. Koli can be seen as the Mont Ventoux of the North.
